On 28 January 2018, Kirby Hyderabad celebrated Employee Family Day at a Convention Centre in Hyderabad. The venue was beautifully decorated in rainbow colors welcoming the highly-spirited employees along with their near and dear ones in scintillating outfits, with a lot of joy and enthusiasm. Around 4,500 members participated in this vibrant festive event.
The event kicked-off on a patriotic note with the invited guests holding tri-color balloons reflecting the colors of the Indian Flag, followed by a devotional song and the lighting of a lamp by D Raju, Vice President – Kirby International, K S Shyam, Senior HR Director – Alghanim Industries, and Mr. Mahipal Reddy, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Patancheru Constituency.
In his inaugural address, D Raju emphasized that “Supportive families are employees’ strength and have a strong impact on employees’ focus, happiness and overall well-being”. K S Shyam, in his keynote, accentuated that “Kirby strongly believes that the organization’s connectivity with employee families reinforces Organization-Employee bonding”. Shyam also conveyed the well wishes from the executive management of Alghanim Industries to the employees and their families. Mr. Mahipal Reddy, while addressing the employees and their family members, highlighted that as a Worker’s Representative and Member of the Legislative Assembly, he will be supporting the development of the industrial sector.
The Dance and Singing Orchestra put on a spectacular performance while employees and their families enjoyed a delicious cuisine at widespread food counters. Additionally, Kirby employees and their children put on amazing dance performances, alongside a magic show and a mimicry show. There were about fifteen different energy-filled games for both kids and ladies at the game zone, as well as balloon shoot, tattoo, and Mehandi counters at the Recreation Zone.
In their concluding remarks, the Senior Management Team of Kirby, K G Philipose, Director – Operations, P V Mohan, Director – Commercial, B Ramachandra Rao, GM – HR, and T Raja Mahender, GM – IR and Admin, thanked all the employees and their families who graced the occasion and appreciated all the Union and Staff members who had put in their valuable efforts in making Kirby Family Day 2018 a grand success.
The Family Day was very well-received by employees and their families who expressed their gratitude for the upbeat experiences filled with countless relishing moments.
