On 11 January 2018, Kirby India held a debriefing session on “Gallup Engagement Study”, focusing on employee engagement, held at the Radisson Hotel in Hyderabad.
The session was conducted by K.S. Shyam, Senior Director – Industrial Group, Engineered Products, Comp & Ben, and Corporate Payroll Group. D. Raju, Vice President – Kirby International, kicked-off the session by emphasizing the importance of employee engagement in an organization’s growth.
This session was aimed at briefing the leadership team of Kirby India on the Gallup Engagement Study, and Alghanim Industries’ strategic move towards “Changing the Game”. This involves a top-down commitment to engagement and empowerment as a collective culture, which will drive performance and strengthen customer satisfaction.
The session also included other discussion points on Performance Management, updates on the appraisal system, cascading of organizational goals to individual objectives, and formulating the “SMART” (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely) objectives.
Kirby Management team were part of the session, where the leadership championed the power to strengthen employee engagement.
