Once in every year Kirby Haridwar celebrates Family Day to strengthen the emotional bonding with employee’s families, especially children as they are the back support of our industry and they play an equally important role in the success of the organization.
On same note, this year’s Family Day was celebrated on 24th February 2019 at Kirby Haridwar, with full pomp and show. The day brought together parents, spouse and children of all the employees at workplace.
The celebration began with Saraswati vandana by our long associated workman followed with the ceremony lighting of the lamp by Mr. D Raju, Vice President - Kirby International, Mr. Swinder Pal Singh, Vice President - Operations Haridwar Plant, Mr. Sudhir Mehta, Assistant Vice President - HR and Mr. Rajeev Srivastava, GM - Sales.
On this occasion Mr. D Raju, Vice President - Kirby International, expressed his thoughts on the importance of family day and how associated he feels to meet the employees and their families on this special day. He encouraged employees for the quality production and their tremendous support for the sustainable industrial growth.
More than 1,300 family members gathered and enthusiastically participated in various sports and cultural activities like tug of war, musical chair and role plays depicting the culture of India. As no family day is complete without fun and games for children, employees kids gathered in large numbers and enjoyed bouncy castles, merry-go-round and enthusiastically participated in rhymes, dance activities and were happy to get various surprises and prizes.
During the event employees team work was quiet visible in various role plays and they tried to spread the messages on God is One and we are not divided by caste, creed, color or culture and we at Kirby work in unity & harmony.
Employees expressed their love towards the factory in the form of poetry and the best poems were awarded during the ceremony. In between the activities employees surprise lucky draws were drawn and best employees of 2018 were awarded under various categories like Best Attitude, Best Attendance and Most Committed employee, by the top management.
The day was ended with a promise to meet again in the next “Family Day 2020”.
